  • Recovering and Creating Pencil Sketches for a 2026 Calendar

    I’ve been struggling with digestive issues over the past month.
    Being unwell drained my motivation, and for a while, I couldn’t do anything productiv
    e—just trying to take care of my body.
    Still, I felt I shouldn’t let things slide completely, so I drew these pictures on my phone during that time.

    Maybe my body and mind were just too tired—so the drawings came out like this.
    (I find myself wanting to comfort her.)

    But I also drew this cute little cat. :)

    And I also tried drawing some small plants.
    These illustrations have been uploaded to Etsy and Payhip as a postcard (A6) + Fordable card (A5) set. :) ->

    These drawings will be used for a 2026 calendar.
    I was thinking of trying it next year, but I decided to just go ahead and start—whether it works out or not.
    Since I plan to sell them as digital download files, I’m working with black and white tones to avoid any color issues.

    I used only my own handwriting for the text.
    I want the overall feel to be simple, but I also hope to create a warm atmosphere with hand-drawn illustrations and handwritten lettering.

    I did a sample print, and it looked pretty good—so I’m continuing with the rest of the drawings.
    The plan is to finish all the artwork by September, and edit everything in October to upload to Etsy and Payhip. :)

  • Reimagining the Leftovers: Collage Meets Digital Drawing

    My home is filled with test prints of my drawings.
    I’d always planned to turn them into a collage, but only now did I finally give it a try.

    The collage became the foundation, and I completed the piece with digital illustration.

    These days, I’m attending a design academy through a government support program.
    Starting something new in my mid-40s is exciting, but also a little scary.
    Overall though, I’m really enjoying it :-)”

    Due to customs issues, it seems difficult to run a physical shipping shop on Etsy for the time being.
    So I’ve decided to focus more on my digital file shop instead.
